Terms of Use

Captain Who’s website is operated by 焦申华, an adult individual, reachable at sh_jiao@zju.edu.cn. The initial beta is for individuals and businesses in mainland China. The mailbox’s university does not operate, endorse or guarantee this website or product.

These terms cover the website and its accounts, not the desktop EULA, desktop privacy notice or third-party terms. The software team supplies the application; this page does not establish acceptance of installers, signatures, automatic updates or desktop account integration.

• The website-account beta is free for individuals and businesses. No Tencent Cloud account, business verification or payment is needed. Verify an email address you control and set a password to use available website account features.
• The website and documentation can be read without an account. Downloads, automatic updates and desktop integration depend on software delivery and are not completion promises for this website-account testing round.
• External models and services have separate terms and possible fees; free beta access does not promise every future release is free or includes unlimited third-party services.
• Protect your email and credentials. Do not impersonate others, sell accounts, abuse bulk registration or bypass codes, rate limits or permissions. Important security matters may require renewed identity verification.

Initial registration is limited to users aged 18 or older. Individuals and businesses follow the same email-verification rules; business representatives must have appropriate authority. This beta website has no forums, comments or online payments.

Do not infringe rights, distribute malware, attack systems, bypass safeguards or access unauthorized data. Have the necessary rights to submitted information and review software suggestions and tool actions. Do not rely solely on agent output for high-risk decisions.

Clear abuse, security risks or legal grounds may result in proportionate limits or suspension with recorded reasons and necessary evidence. Except for urgent security action or legal restrictions, an explanation and review route will be provided. Seek review through the public mailbox.

Beta features may change or contain defects. Platforms, versions, downloads and updates follow delivered and verified information. Windows is not currently available; no launch date is promised. The homepage interactive preview illustrates the interface; it does not prove execution of a live online task or access to your local files.

Chosen models, MCP servers, websites and other services have independent terms and privacy rules. Do not provide other people’s data, confidential information or keys without appropriate authority.

The operator confirms personal authorship of the website’s original content, sailboat icon and wordmark. Third-party code, fonts, components and quotations retain their own licences and notices. This does not establish trademark registration or ownership of all desktop software code.

You retain existing rights in your inputs, files and feedback. Feedback does not automatically transfer unagreed intellectual-property rights. You may browse, share links and use accounts through normal website functions; other uses remain subject to law and rights-holder permissions. Private source code does not become open source because the website is public.

You may sign out or stop using the service. To cancel, contact sh_jiao@zju.edu.cn from your registered email. The operator manually handles and verifies requests, records a case reference and follows the privacy policy’s 15-working-day period for identity and main-database deletion after verification. Backups, proof and logs follow their separate periods; the outcome is communicated separately.

Website suspension is not cancellation or deletion of the CloudBase identity. Legitimate privacy requests, complaints or criticism must not cause retaliatory restrictions; request review through the published mailbox. Submission does not establish erasure of all information.

Support is best effort through the public mailbox without a 24/7 service, fixed response time or uninterrupted-availability promise. We will make reasonable efforts to announce significant maintenance or closure in advance and explain available export or exit options.

Keep independent backups and do not make a beta your only critical business system. Free or beta status does not remove legal responsibilities. These terms do not exclude non-excludable liability or restrict statutory user rights.

These website terms are governed by mainland China law without excluding applicable mandatory protections. First contact the public mailbox to discuss disputes; unresolved matters may be brought before a people’s court with jurisdiction under applicable law. Statutory complaints or remedies are not waived.

This version applies to the free website-account beta; the effective date and version are shown on this page. Registration requires affirmative acceptance of these terms and the privacy policy, recorded against the accepted versions.

Material changes are clearly notified, with renewed consent where required, and do not automatically apply retroactively.
