Third-Party Software
Captain Who includes open-source libraries, icons, fonts, grammar definitions, and document, browser, and Artifact runtime components. Each third-party project remains the property of its rights holders and is provided under its respective license.
Complete notices
The two files at the repository root are the current source-tree maintenance authorities. This page does not duplicate thousands of lines of license text, avoiding content drift between the website and the original notices.
Notices in installation packages
The current packaging configuration places the following files in the application's resources directory:
THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt;THIRD_PARTY_GRAMMAR_NOTICES.txt;- Electron's
LICENSE.electron.txt; - Chromium's
LICENSES.chromium.html.
The website entry point is therefore a convenient supplement and does not replace the notices bundled with an installer for a specific version.
Important notes
- Third-party licenses apply only to the corresponding third-party materials. They do not automatically grant rights to Captain Who's own code or brand.
- Project names and trademarks in the notice files belong to their respective rights holders. Listing them does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership.
- The current project itself is marked
UNLICENSED; third-party notices are not the project's license. - For a specific installed version, consult the complete notices bundled with that installer first. Notices in the source tree may have been updated by later dependency changes.
