Keyboard operations
The current version does not have a separate page for global keyboard-shortcut settings. The following keyboard operations are confirmed in specific parts of the application interface. Standard operations such as copy, paste, and undo in system menus and text editing continue to follow operating-system conventions.
Conversation input
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
Enter | Send the current message |
Shift + Enter | Insert a line break in the message |
Escape | Close an expanded permission or Skill picker, depending on the current focus |
When using an input method such as a Chinese IME in the new-task input box, pressing Enter to confirm a candidate does not send the message.
When editing an existing message, Enter submits the change and Shift + Enter inserts a line break.
Dialogs and drawers
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
Escape | Close a cancelable dialog, image preview, search box, or Automation details drawer |
Tab / Shift + Tab | Move focus forward or backward in interface order; some confirmation dialogs trap focus inside the dialog |
Enter | Submit from a focused confirmation input; the current button and state still govern approval |
While submission is in progress or unsaved changes exist, the interface may prevent immediate closure and request confirmation. Closing an approval dialog with Escape is not the same as rejecting the action.
Dropdowns and lists
Pickers in Models, Settings, Automation, and MCP generally support:
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
↑ / ↓ | Move option focus |
Enter or Space | Open the picker or select the focused item |
Escape | Close the picker and return focus to its trigger |
The model picker and standard pickers in Settings also support Home / End to move to the first or last option. Some Automation pickers implement arrow-key navigation only; do not depend on Home / End there.
PDF preview
When the workspace PDF preview has focus and none of Alt, Ctrl, or Command is held:
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
← / Page Up | Previous page |
→ / Page Down / Space | Next page |
Home | First page |
End | Last page |
Resizable panels
When a panel separator has focus, use ← / → to adjust the width and hold Shift for a larger step. Home and End move to the minimum or maximum permitted width. The Automation details drawer handles the direction according to its position on the right.
Pending message queue
When the drag handle to the left of a queued message has focus, use ↑ / ↓ to change the message order. Only new messages sent while a task is running enter this queue.
Image preview
After opening an image preview:
+or=: zoom in;-or_: zoom out;0: restore the default zoom;Escape: close the preview.
Shortcuts may behave differently depending on focus and operating-system accessibility features. If a key has no effect, first use Tab to move focus to the corresponding control.
